The numbers you type into the gap calculator stay in your browser. They are not sent to us.
3. Cookies and analytics
The site works without cookies. We remember your cookie choice using your browser's local storage, which is necessary for the banner to work.
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies (such as _ga) to tell visitors apart and report how the site is used. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. You can change your mind at any time: .
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google's servers (which includes your IP address) when a page loads. Google states it does not use these requests to build profiles or target ads.
Our checkout is hosted by Payhip, which uses its own cookies on its pages. See Payhip's privacy policy for details.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use these service providers, who process it on our behalf or as independent controllers for their own services:
- Payhip: checkout, file delivery, tax calculation and customer emails
- Stripe and PayPal: payment processing
- Google: analytics (only with your consent) and fonts
- Our web hosting and email providers
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to professional advisers, or to a buyer if the business is sold.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, countries outside the UK and European Economic Area, including the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose.
6. How long we keep it
- Order and tax records: six years after the end of the financial year of the order, as UK law requires
- Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe
- Support messages: up to two years after the conversation ends
- Analytics data: up to 14 months
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to: give you a copy of your information; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; move it to another provider; and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We reply within one month and never charge for a reasonable request.
If you are in the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). If you are in the EU you can complain to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law: we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define the terms, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.
8. Children
Our site and products are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
